Benjamin Blackmore more is a pen name for best-selling author Boo Walker. He initially tapped his creative muse as a songwriter and banjoist in Nashville, but a career-ending hand issue led him on a winding journey to find his true calling: writing novels. Leaving his band, he stumbled into the world of computers and day trading. In 2008, while neck deep and drowning in a quarter-life crisis, he found himself crashing at nearly the same speed as the Dow Jones Industrial Average.\n\nReaching for a defibrillator, Boo left it all behind to chase a wine dream on Red Mountain in Washington State, where he grew a handlebar mustache, bought a horse, and learned the art of farming and the old world philosophies of wine. Finding his soul mate, they started a small organic farm on the Yakima River, growing and fermenting grapes and rescuing animals. It was there amongst the vines that he rediscovered his muse and fell in love with telling stories.\n\nA few years and novels later, a stirring in their gypsy souls propelled them to leave their gentleman’s farm behind.
